Tuckerman Ravine

Marina and I had a Tuckerman Ravine adventure yesterday. We woke up
early and drove over from Stowe, and were rewarded for our effort with a
beautiful blue-bird day. It was also a huge thrill to ski the steep
terrain after such a long hike with all of our equipment! You can see a
few pictures from the day by clicking here.

Chip-

I'm jealous... its been three years since I've been to Tuckerman's, but I did spend the day hiking with my fiancee out here in Southern California.

My Dad tells me that you and Marina are going to be married this spring (if I remember right...Marina's mom is a patient of my Dad's)

Say hello to Marina for me and be well.

I love that you utilized the term "wording." Splint would be so proud. Sweet shots. Looks like you guys had a beautiful day!

Hey Chip, I saw your post on Madesimo in the archives. My wife and I met you and Tom Rothrock on the training hill there a couple of years ago. We live in Milan and Made's our home hill. If you're ever out our way again, let me know (jacolten@netscape.net). There's some great offpiste to be done or, at the very least, I'm good for a drink for a fellow American.

Ciao
JC
